Yes, I will be 70....
the only picture I could find was this one taken in December 1959, in Bermuda on our Honeymoon....
We all think that every one gets older looking... but never us...
I look the same today as I did then....
(Indulge me on this and I will be kind when your birthdays roll around)

Now lets see.. this picture is about 49 years and you were just shy of your 21st birthday, on your honeymoon in Bermuda.
I think the terms "Bermuda High and Bermuda Shorts" were coined on your honeymoon, but I have to check on SNOPES.COM
You look as good today as you did then, only wiser.. funny how 50 years later, you are still surrounded by palm trees.
Is really hard to portray in words how much a person is appreciated and respected, but I do appreciate you each and every day and thankful we get to spend time together.
Happy Birthday, not so Little Donnie.
Love Ron
Happy Birthday Bro,
Can't believe my brother is 70, being so much younger than he is:)
My suggestion, get rid of the mirrors, put on the "Oldies but Goodies," get an outfit like the one you're sporting in Bermuda - it's classic- and your brain will think you still look and feel like you did then. I certainly won't tell since I'm trying the same thing myself. Or wait a few more years when Alzheimers visits and you'll really be there. Hopefully we'll both go back to the same time together.
In the meantime, enjoy each moment, living in the present moment which is a gift, whatever it is. Maybe it's time to find the Tolle book you bought last year, "A New Earth" and give it a try. Forget about the sad Christmas's of your youth and say "Yes!" to today, before it's over.
Wow, 70, a whole new beginning. Live it well.
Love ya,
Sis
Bro,
Since we're in a New Year, how about having the name of this blog reflect all the families it represents. I personally like "Perfarciacon,"
Sis
Happy Birthday to someone MUCH older than I am! But you don't look your age now and, in the picture on this blog, you looked 12! Were you a child groom?
I wish for you double the joy you bring to everyone. Best to you, my good friend, for a special day and a special year!

Happy Birthday, Papa Don! Wow .. 70. Yep, you don't seem a day over 40 or so. ;O) Not that anyone should count. I've lost of track of blogs over the past few months (computer crash, etc.) Anyway, hope your Holidays were wonderful. Hope the coming year is kind and gentle, as you celebrate your 70th year on Earth. (changed my profile picture to reflect my mother's sentiment of many, many years ago. She said "WHAT?!! You did WHAT?!! Have you got rocks in your head?????" :O)
