When I downloaded this slide it reminded me a prank I pulled on Ron and Michael when they were about 3 and 5It was a hot summer night, Carrie and I were in the living room with close friends, Karen and Armand...there was nothing good on TV ( some things never change) and as a joke I went into the kids room and yelled, hurry get up Santa was here. Michael opened one eye, looked at me and went back to sleep. Ron jumped out of bed, ran to the living room, looked around then stamped his foot, gave me a dirty look and went back to bed. I guess is was a cruel thing to do but hey we did not have cable, no computer, we did have a mouse, but we caught in two days later...so we had to work with what we had...and that was Michael and Ron....Sorry Michael and Ron....ummm maybe this explains why, till today I find coal in my stocking and it's not even Christmas.

Yes, I do recall that night, as clear as day. It wasn't funny when it happened, but in retrospect, it was hilarious. Mom and Dad and Armand and Karen had a blast after that. They used to do all kinds of things on Friday night, for example, there was a neighbor next door called the Signoracci's. They just got a new family pet, which was a White Alaskan hound named King. The door was left outside often and would bark. One boring Friday night, they decided to torment the dog, and make a statement to the neighbors. At the time, the Beatles were still as popular as can be, so the four of them put a speaker in the window of the house upstairs and blasted HEY BULLDOG out the window. During the song Paul McCartney howls like a dog and recall them all laughing so hard during that part.
Of course Michael and I thought they were nuts.. the real fun started after we went to bed..

I used to tell that story to my kids ... and they thought it was SOOOO mean ... and yes, it was mean but it was damn hiliarious!!!
Are you guys coming to Orlando on Saturday, August 2nd to spend the day with us (Mom, Dad, Steve, Melissa, all 5 brats)?

We'll be in a 3 bed room condo at a resort ... we can just sit and drink by the pool all day!

hey Kel...I have Dr's appointment and tests that Friday and saturday..so I don't think we will be able to meet you guys.Sounds great but I have to do this stuff...damn
